After my concept album "Secular" (my best work so far and probably ever) I've gone back to the topic of religion, there's just so much in it. This is a song about religious guilt. I've grown as a protestant up in a catholic environment (rural Bavaria) and have seen the harm it can do first hand with my friends. By declaring most of sexuality as a sin and creating unfulfillable standards, religion sets you up for an endless cycle of sinning, guilt, confession, repent and restitution (incidentally financial).
