I had the idea to close FAWM with a nod back to my first song this year.
But the lyric idea wouldn't come until I thought about one of my all time fav bands Aereogramme whose song "The Art Of Belief" I'm ripping off here. Already "Sing" was heavily influenced by their tune "Indiscretion".
This is a tribute to them and their singer Craig B who announced he would quit music altogether. Bands split up, and when Aereogramme called it quits because they just couldn't make a living, that was already sad. Craig B went on to make more beautiful work with The Unwinding Hours and solo as A Mote Of Dust, but then announced that he'd quit making music (or at least releasing it) altogether. To Craig, even though we don't know each other, this is for you. I will always keep your music in my heart.
