My process is mostly: I have some improvised words which I cant replace, so I have to make some sense of it.
Painting the stars.
Well.
What the heck?
In the end it's become an ode to creating art, as useless as it may seem sometimes, it what lifts us up, and sometimes that's all we can ask for.
I spent quite some time with the demo, obviously, and it's not come out like I wanted it to (I think it's too polished). In my head it sounded like a song by Elastica or Lush or Breeders, sung by a woman. Now it sounds like Buffalo Tom, which is not the worst thing either.
