Too many ideas. Maybe I should throw a part out, but I am fond of them all, so I've gotten sort of a weird song structure with a long instrumental middle. Anyway I am pretty pleased with the way that the recording turned out. Maybe you can even guess what my favorite Depeche Mode album is.

Lyrically it continues the theme of a depressed child, written from a closer perspective, a helpless parent.
